Most strawberry drinks on a supermarket shelf contain added colour, and the reason is packaging rather than dishonesty. Strawberry’s red comes from anthocyanin, which degrades under light; in a clear bottle the product browns visibly before its stated shelf life is up. Added colour is the cheapest way to stop that happening.
Removing the Reason to Add Colour
An opaque aluminium can removes the exposure instead of compensating for it. That is what allows this NFC strawberry juice to run at single strength with no added colour and still look correct on the last carton of a batch. For a buyer whose retailer applies clean-label criteria, the shortened ingredient declaration is the commercially useful outcome.
Why 330ml
The larger can serves the occasions a short can does not: a full glass in hotel and restaurant service, airline and catering supply, and retail channels where a bigger serve is the expectation. It is the format to list when the buying decision is about the pour rather than the price point.
Distribution
Sealed and shelf-stable for 24 months at ambient temperature, with no refrigeration required between the plant and the shelf. Private label buyers take the full can surface and can run their own brand and claim set on the same fill.
Across the Range
Other formats of the fruit are listed under canned strawberry juice, and the full can programme under fresh fruit juice. Runs are made under FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and HACCP with traceability to batch level. Up to 20,000 cartons per day, from a 500-carton minimum, 15 to 30 day lead time, T/T terms, Ho Chi Minh City Port.
