NFC (not-from-concentrate) orange juice is squeezed from oranges, pasteurised and packed without being turned into concentrate. It usually tastes fresher and brighter than reconstituted juice, while calories, sugar (about 8–9 g per 100 ml) and vitamin C are similar. The best NFC orange juice lists only orange juice, has no added sugar, and is stored cold or in sealed, light-proof packs.
