ACM Coconut Water with Pineapple Flavor blends coconut water with pineapple for a sweeter, more tropical taste than plain coconut water. It comes in a 320 ml (10.8 fl oz) sleek aluminium can with a 24-month shelf life. Flavoured coconut waters like this help first-time drinkers who find plain coconut water too bland or nutty.
Why add pineapple to coconut water?
- Taste: pineapple adds sweetness, acidity and a strong tropical aroma.
- Wider appeal: fruit flavours convert shoppers who do not like plain coconut water.
- Still light: the base is coconut water, so the drink stays lighter than most fruit juices.
- Potassium: coconut water supplies around 250 mg of potassium per 100 ml in its plain form.
Pineapple’s enzyme bromelain is mostly inactivated by the heat treatment used for shelf-stable cans, so the benefit here is flavour rather than digestion. More in pineapple juice benefits: facts vs hype.
